PART A - OWNERSHIP:
I purchased my 1987 GNX # 139 in December of 1991. The car was bought
from a car broker who had bought the car from the original owner. When
the car was delivered to me, it had 16,500 miles on the odometer and now
has 28,500 miles on it.
PART B -MOTOR:
Modifications include TA-49 turbo, cool air kit @
KN filter, chip upgrade, 3" downpipe, Armstrong XP fuel pump, adjustable
fuel regulator, PTE intercooler, the engine, tranny and rear end are
stock.
PART C - TRANNY:
Original Stock.
PART D - SUSPENSION: Original
Stock.
PART E - BODY & PAINT:
Original Stock.
PART F - PERFORMANCE: Track performance was marginal due to limited traction with stock wheels
and tires, as well as driver inexperience. Best quarter mile time was
13.30 @ 99.27 mph. Lots of wheel spin and fish tailing during both of
her trips to the track. Other times were in the mid 13's with no
traction. Moroso Motor Park and Speedway, West Palm Beach, Florida.
PART F - OTHER:
Replaced original speakers which had deteriorated.
