CLASS:  UHP - Ultra High Performance ( 11 second cars )

PART A - OWNERSHIP:  I am the third owner. Car was purchased in December of 2001 from Brian Rice of Pasadena, Maryland. At the time of purchase, the odometer showed 21,618 miles. At current, the odometer shows 24,810 miles. Brian purchased the car in late 1994 from a specialty/collector car dealer with 9,712 miles.

PART B -MOTOR:  Matching numbers stock short-block

  • Transmission was modified by a friend of Brian's before I purchased the car. It is, however, the original transmission that came in the car.

PART D - SUSPENSION: Brakes converted to vacuum assist, have original Powermaster, S10 rear brake cylinders

Front suspension...original stock

Boxed lower control arms
50/50 Lakewood Drag Shocks
stock upper control arms

Weld Draglites
15x3.5 fronts, 15x9 rears with 275/50-15 BFG radial T/As

Factory GN wheels with original Goodyear Eagle GT tires are wrapped up and stored. Original tires are in VGC, rims are flawless.

PART E - BODY & PAINT:  Body...original stock condition maintained

Paint... factory original paint, wet sanded to remove imperfections then professionally buffed. Since that time, car has been waxed/polished with Zaino products only.

Interior... factory stock interior with the exception of pillar mount boost gauge, console mount oil press/water temp gauges, replacement of factory stereo with Alpine CD player and Boost C electronic boost controller. Custom bent 6 point rollbar with dropped door bars to prevent damage to door panels. RCI 5 point harness for driver, 4 point for passenger.

PART F - PERFORMANCE:
Best 1/8 pass to date (slicks)...7.28 @ 95.7 mph
Best 1/8 pass to date (street tire)...8.02 @ 91.2 mph
Best 1/4 pass to date...11.19 @ 119.2

1/8 mile times were ran at Southeastern Dragway in Douglas, GA

1/4 mile time was at Capitol Raceway in Maryland by Brian Rice. My personal best 1/4 pass has been 11.34 @ 118.6. Car has 10 second capability, but it is too nice to push that hard and risk hurting the car.

PART G - OTHER: Custom embroidered dash cover, Custom trunk kit with Grand National logo, Custom hoodliner with Grand National logo.
